COS.TER RLSa heat recovery system is an industrial unit of high quality suitable for heat recovery plants processing air, fumane, combustion fumes, etc.
Construction specifications: It is realized with stiffened plates, suitably equipped with self-spacing system and turbulator. The plates are made from iron or stainless steel. The choice of the material depends upon the presence of corrosive agents and on the high temperature of the treated fumes. The frame is made of thick steel and has the appropriate profile for connection to the channels. Sealing between the two flows is ensured by continuous weldings at the ends of the plates and on the side uprights. Technical specifications: The regeneration effficiency can vary from 40 to 65 % but higher values can be reached in the presence of moisture condensation or in installations in series. The pressure drop in standard operating conditions is set around 150/300 Pa. (water column 15/30 mm). Higher values are only present at high temperatures due to the cubical expansion of the air.
Differential pressure
The differential pressure between the two flows can reach and exceed 5000 Pa (500 mm water column.) Maximum operating temperatures can reach 500°fC or iron executions and 700° C for those in steel.
