Design and construction coils for marine applications
For conditioning plants on board of ships are often used Air Handling Unit containing coils for heat exchange.
The coils reliability in air conditioning systems for ships must be maximum: during the crossings is in fact impossible to carry out work of extraordinary maintenance or replacement damaged equipment.
On the basis of the characteristics of the air conditioning sytems coils can be of different types:
- Finned pipe coils
- Smooth pipes coils
- Electric armoured coils
